All current Arai Auto Racing Helmet have a Snell 2005 certification and will be legal for racing until the Snell 2015 is released.  Snell 2010 Arai helmets will not be available for sale until 10/01/2010

ARAI GP6 RC With the Arai GP6 RC Auto Racing Helmet, Arai has developed the new auto racing carbon fiber GP6 RC  auto racing helmet that meets and exceeds the FIA 8860:2004 and Snell SA 2005 approval standards. Made from specially developed carbon fiber, this auto racing helmet is designed for perfect aerodynamics, with improved ventilation, an improved visor mechanism and new quickly removable cheek pads for easy removal of the helmet after a crash, without causing stress on the neck. The Arai GP6 RC auto racing helmet is offered with a natural carbon fiber look and a clear protective coating that comes complete with; a Clear Anti Fog visor, a Light Smoke Anti Fog visor, a Dual Pane visor, a tear-off package, an extra screw kit, and an extra set of ventilation ducts.

ARAI GP6 PED The Arai GP6 PED provides the latest incarnation of the iconic Arai GP Series auto racing helmet using the same shell shape as the Arai F-1 GP6 RC. The Arai GP6 PED utilizes a new shield, as the eye port has been enlarged by 5mm on each side, to increase peripheral vision. Using Arai’s proprietary PBcLc (Peripherally Belted Complex Laminated Construction) the GP6 PED is light weight and provides incredible shell strength and flexibility. A stronger shell allows Arai to use an extremely soft interior EPS liner for maximum comfort and excellent impact energy management. Come with the Arai PED kit uninstalled for better aerodynamic properties comes,kit must be installed.

ARAI GP6 S The Arai GP6 S provides the latest incarnation of the iconic Arai GP Series auto racing helmet using the same shell shape as the Arai F-1 GP6 RC. ARAI GP5 W The Arai GP5 W comes with a visor and removable cheek pads, and there is a peak visor available as an option. This auto racing helmet is the result of the demand from driver in the touring car classes, where the added protection of a visor is not necessary. The Arai GP5 W offers a large 90mm aperture and extensive ventilation with two intake ducts at the front with the proven Delta Duct in the back. Pre-drilled points for the HANS anchor system. Constructed of Arai's exclusive clc (Complex Laminate Construction) shell technology, which helps offset the added weight of a larger shield. The result is that the GP5 W maintains a low overall weight. The exterior and interior shape are nearly identical to those found on the GP5 PED but due to the larger eye port opening, uses a new and exclusive shield. However the shield hardware and tear-offs are the same as used with the GP5 and GP5 K.

ARAI GP JET/f  is an open face auto racing helmet constructed with the Complex Laminate Construction Shell and Hyper Ridge reinforcement for more stiffness. Removable ear cups and new Hyper T visor with integrated, removable, light tint anti glare sun shielding strip. Extensive, adjustable ventilation ducts for added comfort. The special polystyrene inner shell combines different densities for greater comfort and more gradual impact absorption. Also features a changeable Nomex fire resistant lining and yellow Kevlar chinstrap. Perfect for closed cockpit saloon car racing.
