Arai Hans Post Anchors Install

GPhelmets.com is happy to offer FREE installation of Arai Hans Post Anchors on your new Arai helmet.

SAH HELMETS also called SA2010 M6 HELMETS:

These helmets come from the factory with M6 threaded inserts already installed. The Arai SAH Hans posts are installed from the outside ONLY, with just a couple of hand tools.

On these helmets, the FIA sticker is located inside the helmet.

FOR SA HELMETS ONLY:

The SA helmets are supplied without FIA label and are only pre-drilled for the Hans Posts.

The Arai SA Hans Posts have a threaded washer that needs to be installed between the liner and the shell.

If you require an Arai helmet with FIA Hans Label, we will be happy to order one for you at no extra cost, please contact sales@gphelmets.com. Below is an example of the FIA Hans Label that is installed at the factory from Arai.

For customers that will install the SA Hans Post Anchors themselves, here are a couple tips:

Remove the cheek pads, DO NOT remove the liner, just gently pry the liner away from the shell and slide the nutwasher using a small wrench, put a drop of threadlocker sealant on the threads, hand tighten until the point of the post faces rearward, torque to 30 inch pounds or 3.4 newton meters.
